The Evangelical Free Church of Canada Mission has been working in Ukraine since 1993 when we had our first Summer English Institute. Since that time we have been involved with Church planting in several different cities (Dnepropetrovsk, Kharkov, Bakchisaray, Kramatorsk) as well as leadership development through the Dnepropetrovsk Bible Institute (DBI).
The purpose of this blog is to provide updates on what is going on here on the field. Hopefully those who visit will be reminded to pray for us as missionaries, as well as the many Ukrainians we work with daily. It is an exciting time to be involved in Ukraine, God is doing a special work in a place that for so long has endured endless difficulties. The difficulties continue, of course, but at least now there is more freedom and openness, and the opportunity for the gospel to be proclaimed freely.
